Pumptrack

3D-printed pumptracks were developed upon the request of the Pumptrack Foundation. Conventional portable tracks are heavy, vulnerable to weather conditions, and time-consuming to make. Therefore, collaboration was initiated to develop a version made of recycled plastic using large-scale 3D printing.

The design freedom of 3D printing was maximized by integrating reinforcing ribs underneath the pumptrack. This enhances the product's strength while keeping its weight as low as possible, ensuring that the track sections remain mobile and portable.
