3D geprint muziek instrument

SONIC OBJECT

The concept of 'Sonic Object #1' was conceived by designers Peter Zegveld and Buro Luc Ex. It's a grand design: a sound horn measuring approximately 6.5 meters long and 4 meters high! Traditional fabrication of such an object would be extremely complex, so ENLARG3D seized the opportunities of large-scale 3D printing to produce this sound horn.

The object is designed for public spaces. Its internal speaker and organic shape will acoustically amplify sound. Rather than playing conventional music, it features a composition by Luc Ex: a 15-minute piece constructed from natural urban sounds. No ordinary instruments here, just slamming doors, suitcases rolling along the pavement, and the shouts of market vendors.

Completed in the summer of 2020, the object is now touring Europe.
