Dodge Replica
Dodge dealership Millbrook from Nuland approached Atelier Gort for a striking decoration for their facade. Atelier Gort proposed the idea of protruding the nose and cabin of an old 1940 Dodge from the facade. Large-scale 3D printing emerged as a viable alternative since finding or affording a real vintage Dodge was impractical.
The challenge lay in printing the parts without sacrificing detail. Details such as the hood seam or window rubber were crucial. With this in mind, ENLARG3D got to work.
The project was realized through clever engineering, dividing the components intelligently and 3D printing large parts while preserving the intricate details. After assembly, Atelier Gort meticulously finished and decorated the Dodge replica.
