Garden Egg Chair

ENLARG3D was tasked with 3D printing a designer piece of furniture using seaweed. The customer-supplied material was printed by ENLARG3D using the FGF 3D printing method. This unique piece featured complex double-curved surfaces, easily realized through 3D printing technology—an ideal solution for this challenge.

The process settings were quickly optimized, allowing various chair components to be printed. The chair was created for an exhibition at the Vitra Design Museum in Germany. The "Plastic: Remake Our World" exhibition highlights the benefits of circular plastics.
